Job Description
|
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain intuitive web-based applications
· Manage multiple projects and deliver products in a timely manner
· Establish productive and cohesive relationships with functional areas and departments
Technical Expertise:
· Significant experience with open source development tools and language (PHP, AJAX, Java, Perl, etc)
· Significant experience with complex SQL query
· Experience in developing scalable web applications
Industry Acumen:
· Experience with data collection system for telecom switches
· Experience with chart front-end application used by Wall Streets
Education & Experience:
· 5+ years PHP development experience
· 5+ years SQL development experience
· Information Technology and/or Engineering background
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
· Strong work ethic
Communications & Interpersonal Skills:
· Ability to clearly articulate and effectively communicate ideas, problems, and solutions verbally and in writing to both business & technical audiences
· Ability to effectively document complex technical issues in a concise, coherent manner that is understandable by a business audience
· Quickly and effectively builds trust with team members and management
Project Management Skills:
· Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously
· Ability to work within a systems development lifecycle to ensure on-time, productive, high-quality solutions that meet expectations while working in a cross-functional environment
